How To Claim - Life Insurance Cover
This policy pays out a tax-free lump sum to your nominated beneficiaries if you pass away. So expenses like your household mortgage, kids school fees and car repayments can be taken care of, even when you are no longer there. At a time that’s life-changing for your family and loved ones, there can be many unforeseen events and expenses.
Other benefits of our Life Cover include:
- Interim Accident Benefit: The benefit is effective in the event of accidental death within 30 days of us receiving the application, up to the date that the policy is accepted or declined.
- Family Funeral Benefit: This life insurance claims benefit is effective in the event of the death of the insured, their spouse or their children.
- Terminal Illness Benefit: This life insurance claims benefit is effective if the insured contracts a terminal illness (with a long-term survival diagnosis of 12 months or less). The full value of the death benefit can be claimed in advance.

Documents to be submitted with the claim form (without prejudice):
- Copy of the policy
- Certified copy of Policyholder ID
- Certified copy of the deceased's ID (if the deceased is different from the policyholder)
- Copy of the person’s ID that participates in the claim
- Certified copy of Death Certificate
- Proof of relationship (in case of spouse’s death)
- Beneficiary's banking details
- Police case number (in case of an accident)
