We are pleased to inform you that the merger of Hollard Moçambique Companhia de Seguros, S.A., Hollard Vida – Companhia de Seguros, S.A. and Global Alliance Seguros, S.A. is complete. Following approval by the Mozambique Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority (ASFPM), the merger was registered with the Legal Entities Registry (Conservatória do Registo das Entidades Legais – CREL) on 4 November 2026. The three companies are now one: Hollard Moçambique Companhia de Seguros, S.A.
Your policy is now part of this company, under the Hollard brand. Nothing changes in your insurance or in your relationship with Hollard.
To complete the merger, the law required life policyholders to be formally notified of the transfer of their policies to the entity resulting from the merger. For this reason, between June and August 2026, we sent an official notification to each life policyholder. The notification explained the process and set out the right to object within 60 days of receipt.
The notification was a mandatory step in the regulatory process, required by law to protect your rights as a customer. It did not represent any change to your policy.
